William Clark has been preparing title opinions covering oil and gas properties in Texas and New Mexico since 2018, when he graduated from the University of Texas School of Law and moved to Midland to work for Davis, Gerald & Cremer, P.C.

Since joining the firm he has spent most of his time preparing title opinions for DGC’s principal clientele – large and small exploration and production companies in the Permian Basin – ranging from simple drilling opinions covering single vertical-well tracts to complex, multiple-drilling-and-division-order-opinion projects involving pooled or communitized units covering federal and private fee lands, force-pooled interests, allocation wells, and/or production sharing agreements.

Typically in connection with the preparation of title opinions, from time to time he has conducted due diligence examination associated with oil and gas asset acquisitions or sales for clients in the Permian Basin.

On occasion, he has also assisted clients with oil and gas receiverships, mineral liens, trust and LLC transfers for individual or family mineral owners, and small mineral asset sales.
