Full Biography
Max Canon is an associate in the Austin and Midland offices whose practice focuses on oil and gas related transactions, corporate matters, and title examination. Max is licensed to practice in both Texas and New Mexico.
Max has experience representing public and private companies in traditional purchase and sale agreements, farmout agreements, saltwater disposal agreements, surface use agreements, title opinions, and other energy related contracts.
Max was born in Midland, Texas and moved to Austin, Texas in 2009. While attending the University of Texas, Max served as a Handler in the Silver Spurs organization where he administered, arranged, and coordinated activities associated with the University of Texas longhorn mascot, Bevo XV. Max began his legal career in Midland, Texas at Davis, Gerald & Cremer and moved to the Austin office in 2026.
