Davis, Gerald & Cremer is a full-service, energy-focused law firm, with offices in Midland and Austin, Texas. We counsel industry-leading clients and provide superior legal work and services, including:
- Trying complex as well as novel issues before trial courts and in arbitration, and litigating those issues at the appellate courts;
- Assisting oil and gas operators with all facets of Texas regulatory law, including representation in contested case hearings before the Railroad Commission of Texas;
- Interpreting increasingly complicated oil and gas title, determining resulting ownership positions, and resolving concerns regarding similar issues that arise in the ownership and operation of oil and gas leases; and
- Negotiating and closing transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures; farmout, operating, development and other energy agreements; along with day-to-day and corporate matters.

DGC hires academically successful and driven first- and second-year law students for our summer associate program, which currently occurs in the Midland office. Summer associates have opportunities to perform real work, interact with clients, and learn from DGC lawyers. Summer associate compensation is a flat weekly salary that matches the current base salary of our first-year associates.
