Marc Skeen, with almost 40 years of oil and gas legal experience in the Permian Basin, has rejoined DGC after taking a leave of absence to serve as deputy general counsel of Parsley Energy during its initial four years as a public entity. The majority of Marc’s career, both in private practice and as deputy general counsel of Pioneer Natural Resources USA, Inc. was focused on oil and gas litigation. His practice, however, over the last decade, has been focused on providing litigation and pre-litigation evaluation and support, and has evolved into an E&P transactional practice that includes assisting in-house counsel, assisting land and other departments and assisting individuals, in the negotiation and preparation of almost all types of agreements commonly used in the oil and gas industry. Marc is also a qualified mediator.
