Lisa A. Paulson

Lisa has served alongside her mentor, Shannon Ratliff, for over twenty years as trial and appellate counsel handling a broad array of commercial disputes. Lisa has handled or supervised everything from simple breach-of-contract cases to complex, multi-party lawsuits involving extensive e-discovery. Lisa also has an active federal practice, has been retained by major firms to advise clients in Austin-based litigation, and often serves as local counsel. She is a member of the Austin Division admissions committee and has served on multiple Magistrate Judge Merit Selection Committees. Lisa, a self-described nerd, loves the law and sharing it through written advocacy. Her approach to serving each client is borrowed from Captain Bill McDonald of the Texas Rangers: “No man in the wrong can stand up against a fellow that’s in the right and keeps a comin’.”
